10-Year Warranty
Peace of mind, built into every Bedworld mattress
Every mattress sold at Bedworld is backed by a manufacturer's warranty of up to 10 years, depending on the specific mattress, brand, and size you choose. Your warranty card is included with your new mattress and covers genuine defects in materials and workmanship, so you can invest in better sleep with confidence.
Bedroom furniture: all furniture purchased from Bedworld, regardless of category, comes with a comprehensive 1-year manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
What's Covered
Your mattress warranty covers manufacturing defects such as broken springs, structural faults, or issues with workmanship for the length of the warranty stated on your product's warranty card. Coverage varies by brand and range; most Bedworld mattresses carry a 10-year warranty, with some models offering shorter or longer terms.
What's Not Covered
- Handles (if fitted) - these are for positioning only and should not be used to lift the mattress's full weight.
- Heat-related issues.
- Comfort preferences - comfort is personal, and a mattress simply not suiting your preferred feel is not considered a manufacturing fault.
- Smells or odours from a new mattress, which are normal and fade over time.
- Minor manufacturing variations that don't affect performance.
Keeping Your Warranty Valid
- Follow all care and maintenance instructions provided by the manufacturer on your warranty card.
- Keep your proof of purchase, you'll need this for any warranty claim.
- Use a suitable, supportive bed frame or base. If using timber slats, they should be spaced no more than 5-7cm apart with a centre support rail.
- Rotate your mattress every two weeks for the first three months, then at least monthly, to reduce body impressions as the comfort layers settle.
- Note: misuse - such as jumping on the mattress or failing to follow care instructions can void the manufacturer's warranty.
If You Have a Problem
If you experience any issue with your mattress that you believe is a manufacturing fault, contact the Bedworld store where you made your purchase and our team will guide you through the warranty claim process. This warranty sits alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law, which are never affected by these terms.
Not Sure If It's Comfort or a Fault?
It's normal for a new mattress to feel different and to take up to 30–60 nights for your body to fully adjust. If you're within your first 30 nights of an in-store mattress purchase and unsure whether it's simply an adjustment period, our 30 Night Comfort Guarantee may be able to help.
