How long did my mattress make me consider the right choice?

Brand new mattress after delivery, it takes time to adjust your body to understand the mattress’s feel. When you purchase and test your mattress in store, our mattresses are 2- to 4-month-old here for general testing when you feel and buy, also your old mattress passed many years, and your body is used to the old mattress. Now considering a new mattress, it needs to be considered at least 30 to 60 days to adopt your body with good feeling. In general, new mattresses require a few weeks to adapt your body and adjust to offer you the best feeling of what you deserve.

The most important step is to use the right mattress protector on your new mattress. This will keep your mattress stain, spot free, spill free, odor free, microbes free, protect your mattress and extend the mattress life.

Protect a bed Tencel mattress protector is the best choice to keep your mattress nice and clean. Also check our mattress comfort guarantee for more information.

Can I expect body impression on the mattress? Is it normal?

Body impressions are normal, as the internal comfort layer will settle and adjust to contour your body to shape. The plusher mattress, the more comfort layers exist. You should expect some degree of body impression on your mattress, it is a normal process, but deeper impression will not occur, if they do, contact the store for appropriate action.

The body impression should be balanced through the regular rotation of the mattress, at least 2 to 3 times a month, for the first 3 months and then after regularly rotating once a month.

I feel hot on my new mattress! Is it normal?

If you find your new mattress that feels hot during sleep, consider your sleeping environment. New mattresses are designed to allow you to sink a little and minimize your pressure points for comfortable sleep, in that way the sleeper to sink into a more relaxed state. This will allow your body to contact more (hug) with the mattress and possibly feel warmer to sleep on. It is important to check bed sheets, blankets, and surrounding environment to check anything triggering to warm up. You can balance the temperature by adjusting the surrounding surface areas.

Do I need proper support for my mattress?

Central support is required to maintain the integrity of the mattress; therefore, it will not dip in the middle portion. A center support assists the mattress to maintain more supportive and for that purpose, a solid slating base is required to get the optimum benefits of the mattress. Our suggestion is to consider a new solid base purchase when you change the old mattress to the new mattress. This will give you more comfortable support and longer life of the mattress.

Supporting solid timber wood bed frames or solid wooden bases are the best option. If using the slat system, ideally slats should be 5 to 7 cm gap with central rail in between to get the optimum support and comfort. This will ensure the mattress will last long.
